__utma: It is used to distinguish users and sessions. The cookie is created when the JavaScript library is executed and there is no cookie (Default duration: Two years from the setting or update. __utma: The cookie is updated each time data is sent to Google Analytics.
__utmt: Used to limit the percentage of requests. (Default duration: 10 minutes)
__utmb: It is used to determine new sessions or visits. The cookie is created when the JavaScript library is executed and there is no __utmb cookie. The cookie is updated each time data is sent to Google Analytics. (Default duration: 30 minutes from setup or update)
__utmc: Not used in ga.js. It is configured to interact with urchin.js. Previously, this cookie worked in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine if the user was in a new session or visit. (Default duration: End of browser session)
__utmz: Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user got to the site. The cookie is created when the JavaScript library is executed and is updated each time data is sent to Google Analytics. (Default duration: Six months from configuration or update)
__utmv: Used to store custom visitor variable data. This cookie is created when a developer uses the _setCustomVar method with a custom visitor variable. It was also used for the retired _setVar method. The cookie is updated each time data is sent to Google Analytics. (Default duration: Two years from configuration or update)
